Ghostbusters: Afterlife Among Hulu’s Top Films Last Week

Following Hulu’s recent Ghostbusters rollout, including the streaming success of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the franchise’s momentum continues, with Ghostbusters: Afterlife becoming a strong performer on the platform.

Added on February 16, the 2021 legacy sequel was one of Hulu’s top films over the past week, maintaining a steady presence among the service’s most-watched titles.

Looking at last week’s chart performance, Afterlife found itself in notable company, sharing space with long-running franchise entries and genre favorites, including Predator: Badlands, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, and The Mummy (1999).

This latest showing arrives on the heels of Frozen Empire’s strong January debut and last month’s return of both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, with all four prime canon films now available in one place, allowing new audiences and longtime fans alike to revisit the story from its 1984 beginnings through its modern continuation.
